Never start eating ice cream and could not stop? Never start eating potato chips and ended up eating half of a bag the size of the family? Never start eating slices of pizza and ended up eating half of a large pizza?
If you have then you have to ask yourself how to stop eating. Do you want to stop eating junk food? Here are the steps to stop eating junk food that will help you.
Understanding Why We Eat Food Waste. Junk food, processed food produced to taste so good in your mouth. They often cater to your taste directly. So even through they are not good for you in the long run, when you do consume them satisfy you directly.
Instant Gratification vs. Long Term Gratification. To stop eating junk food that you need to distinguish between instant gratification and long-term satisfaction. Eating junk food or fast food immediately satisfying. But how do you feel 2-3 hours later? Usually a little tired, lazy, of energy, etc. What happens if you keep eating those kinds of foods? Do not Eat For Comfort. Often junk food and fast food is comfort food. Comfort food is what we try to eat dealing with difficult emotions such as stress, fear, worry, sadness, boredom dome etc. Catch yourself when you are going to achieve comfort food. Pause and questioning your emotional state. What events or emotions in your life cause cravings for comfort food?
