Healthy Cake
Healthy Cake? This phrase sounds like a contradiction, like jumbo shrimp!
We do not think the cake is healthy. Part of our understanding of the cake is that it is a little sinful for us to eat. It's a bit decadent, indulgent. We enjoyed the flavor and richness that, knowing that we can not enjoy often as possible negative effects.
If we hear of a healthy cake, we tend to write this as something that will taste bad, even without trying it first.
Being healthy 'almost ruins the cake, way. A healthy cake sounds like something ripoff, half-dessert hybrid half health food that just did not quite satisfactory.
Because healthy food and cake do not go together very well, let's revision of our efforts as baking healthy. If we try to make cakes that are less healthy, it does not make it sound like we are going to replace the chocolate with tofu.
Most simple cake. The cake itself, grilling up a sponge layer of flour, eggs, butter, and sugar, and frosting that tops it. Frosting is usually made of sugar and butter.
If we assume each ingredient in turn, we can often think of healthy alternatives that might be worth. Often substitution will not harm the texture or taste good; vegans and health food restaurants these days baked cake is rich and decadent and would deceive the palate of the most discriminating.
Instead of throwing all cake recipes, adapting them. Each recipe will include ingredients that you can easily change. Swap out the less healthy ingredients, such as eggs or sugar or flour, with healthier alternatives such as low cholesterol egg substitute, turbinado sugar, and wheat flour.
Do not try a new swap materials at night you'll have guests over, or with your cake bake for an event. Sometimes change materials can negatively affect the quality of the cake; it is better for you to make your mistakes at home, and only your success to your guests.
