Healthy Oven Baked Chips
It is impossible to stop with eating just one. Potato chips are snacks that are very popular all over the world and I do not think there will not be people who do not like to eat them. With so many flavors, shapes and sizes, there are chips for everyone's taste.
History
In 1853 at a restaurant in New York, said that the customer ordered fries with my meal but then sent the meal back, complaining that the fries were not crispy enough. There is only one problem with regular potato chips we found in our local grocery store - calories! What if there is a way you can make your own potato chips in the comfort of your home, and they are healthier with a lot less calories than your regular potato chips? Here you go ...
Recipe
• Rub your potatoes under warm water to remove all impurities from the skin. You can peel the potatoes with a vegetable peeler or you can leave the skin on if you prefer leather in the style chips (I suggest you try both and see what you like).
• Slice potatoes thinly with a knife or mandolin. Try sliced paper thin size, having in mind that the thin slices, they need less cooking.
• Rinse the potato slices to remove excess starch. This will reduce the overall number of calories in chips.
• Drain the slices with paper towels as much as possible.
• Spray olive oil on a baking sheet perforated You create layers of light. Place the potato slices in the pan, but do not overlap.
